Watching Rachel Grow

Never an empty box in our house that Rachel can't get or squeeze into.

Rachel is REALLY warming up to her Baba. He stays in one place unlike Mommy. She loves to sit on his lap as you can see after dinner (see the full belly) and chill a little. Then the woolin begins soon after.

Rachel looooooooooves her bath time. She now runs to the bottom of the stairs at night when I say "bath". The other week she pushed the button to the drain and let the water out. Normally I tell her "no" and push is shut. This particular time I let it all run out thinking she would get upset or cold...... NOT!!! She just played in the tub without any water and never even shivered one shiver. She made Mom cold just looking at her tho and this that was a lesson. A lesson for Mom :) Baby will play in tub all night with or without water. Note to Mom: next time push button to drain when Rachel tries to let water out.

It's Razorback Game Day!!!

I was given this singing and dancing frog for my 40th bday. It is so darn cute and yet I really never had a practical use for it. It sings "So Crazy?" by Beyonce and Rachel loves it. We have to press the button to make her/it sing all day long.

Wow, she really looks like she's practicing a cheer right now. But, she's mimicking Mom and trying out some new dance moves.

We have had to get rid of all of our wicker trash cans. Rachel was destroying them and we were afraid she would get a splinter or worse yet - eat one. I found these collapsible canvas and leather cubes at my favorite place - TARGET and it is perfect for her toys. However, the toys don't seem to stay in it as long as she does :)

"What are you looking at Mom?"
I'm not really sure what this gesture means for Mom.

Princess is quite comfy............for now.

"I'm thinking that I may want out of here now."
"Okay, so it was a lot easier to get in than it is to get out."
"Heeeeeeeeeeeelp!"

Nana & Peepaw gave Rachel these connectable plastic links and she has finally mastered how they connect and disconnect. She is into problem solving toys most of all.

"Let's crown Baba for the game."
