RAIN RAIN RAIN..........LET IT RAIN :)

Hello,

This is Mom's favorite time of the day...........(nap time for Baba and lil princess Rachel) and it is raining which I miss so very much living in SoCal where is so dessert-like. We're even having thunder today :) Mama has on one of her favorite Feng Shui Cd's rip'd to Dad's laptop playing in the background and all is right w/ the world. Baba went to White Swan clinic yesterday evening and got us some baby benadryl (diphenhydramine) Rachel slept much better and is less congested today. If I could any advice to new Mom's and Dad's right behind us on this path (Yvette) it would be to stock up and don't scrimp on the first aid kit. All babies are sick that were from our orphanage. Keep in mind that I did buy small bottles but I've used up almost all of my infant ibuprofen and pediacare for congestion. I did not even bring baby benadryl and am not thinking it was on the recommended list - but I would bring it. If baby doesn't sleep well - NOBODY sleeps well!! It is August obviously and everyone far from dresses conservatively!! Bring plenty of tanks and gauzy skirts (easy for women to use outing toilets along strolls). You will not see women in shorts only the men - but they where alot of skirts - long and short. Forget your curling iron if it is Summer!!!! Bring plenty of clips and ponytail holders. We will be needing more diapers soon and I'm curious about this Guangzhou WallyWorld (Wal-mart) so - we will have to ck it out soon also for diapers. We knew we would need them - we only bought 1/2 of recommended to help w/ luggage weight. We move over to the White Swan tomorrow - it is a beautiful hotel and we very much look forward to the move due to the constant construction going on here and bad smell!!! We will however miss our business suite but we will manage :). We had Baby photos for Dr. and physicals today - FUN FUN!! I couldn't hardly hear myself think when we left from all of the screaming babies. Rachel was measured, weighed, ears eyes and throat checked and I even had to remove her diaper and show that Dr. her "good girl"! This won't be seen by many men if Mama and Baba have anything to say about it til she's at least 50? Of course she screamed thru the whole examination and then we changed her diaper and gave her a fresh bottle and we were much happier as we made our exit.
