Let's just say we made a quick escape from the Pumpkin Patch!!!

The winds here are very high right now. They are called the Santa Anna's here in CA. Every year in the spring and around Halloween they pick up. I very much dislike them - they scare me and remind me of back home's tornado's. And all around us today are many fires 5-6 if not more. When we arrived at Lombardi it was just mostly windy and we could see dark clouds in the distance - but fires are nothing new to Southern Californianers. Then, it got darker and darker and the firetrucks started moving in..................we quickly started moving out!! This is the view of the fire just from our very own driveway as we drove up. This particular fire is approximately 10 miles from us. No, don't panic - so far we're not roasting marshmallows as of yet.
